Boyue Dental carbide 245 burs are made of one-piece Tungsten carbide material. Our burs are made in Israel and feature  high accuracy & efficiency, less chatter, superior control and an excellent finish.

Carbide burs are made of tungsten carbide, a metal that is extremely hard (about three times stiffer than steel) and can withstand high temperatures. Because of their hardness, carbide burs can maintain a sharp cutting edge and be used many times without becoming dull. 

Use different burs depending on which type. If you're going to use one bur for everything, use the 245 (on real teeth). You can make everything smooth, because dentin is crystalline. On typodont teeth, it doesn't smoothen very well, so the 330 diamond does that job better.

Carefully designed blade structure, rake angle, flute depth and spiral angulation combined with our specially formulated tungsten carbide results in the powerful cutting performance of our burs. Boyue dental burs carbide cutting heads are made with high quality fine-grain tungsten carbide, which produces a blade that is sharper and wears longer compared to less expensive coarse grain tungsten carbide.

Blades made of fine grain tungsten carbide, retain shape even as they wear. Less expensive, large particle tungsten carbide dulls quickly as the large particles break from the blade or cutting edge. Many carbide manufacturers use inexpensive tool steel for the carbide bur shank material.

For shank construction, Boyue dental burs uses surgical grade stainless steel, which resists corrosion during sterilization processes used in the dental office.
